2. Choose an area of Science that especially interests you
3. Decide on something you could investigate using an experiment,
and make a prediction (also called a hypothesis) to say what
you think you will find out
4. Carefully choose your apparatus and write a short method
and a risk assessment for your experiment
5. Carry out your experiment carefully and safely - you can do this
at school during tutor time, after-school or at lunch with permission, or at
home if it is safe to do so
6. Produce a large (A2 or bigger) poster, a leaflet
and a presentation about what you have researched and found out in
your project
7. Be prepared to talk to people about your project at the Science
Fair, and to show your experiment to people
8. If you can, take photos or videos of how you did
your project
