ScienceVT - Individual Research Project Guidance - September 2004
Aim
To produce a bright, colourful A3 poster that explains the chosen topic in
your own words.
What to do
1) Use the internet to research the topic area:
- Start at http://www.ScienceVT.co.uk
- Find useful websites
- Copy useful information into Word
- Rewrite information in own words
- Print small amounts of useful information
- Print a small number of useful diagrams or pictures if required
2) Prepare information for poster:
- Poster must be written in own words
- No information that is printed straight from a website or copied from a book
- Write up information neatly and clearly
3) Put poster together:
- Remember to make it bright and colourful
- Do not write directly on the coloured paper
- glue white written sheets on
- Remember to include the title of the project on the poster
4) Display poster for the rest of the group:
- Be prepared to discuss your poster with others and answer any questions
