Various updates have just been made to the site...

The preparation details for the Science Fair 2006 are now available.

A site map featuring direct links to every page on the site has been created.

There is now a contact form for any questions, comments or suggestions to be made to the teachers that run ScienceVT.

• 10/03/06: National Science Week @ St. Edmund's

To celebrate National Science Week, ScienceVT are involved in a number of activities:

The Year 7 Science Club continues on Tuesday lunchtime, working on Balloon Rockets.

There will be a special Year 8 Science Challenge on Thursday and Friday lunchtime, building Spaghetti Towers.

Finally, three classes from Years 9 and 10 will be involved in a National Science Week Videoconference - Science Live 2006.

• 26/02/06: Lots of things have been happening

Many new things have happened in ScienceVT this year...

We had a very successful Zoom Machines competition.  There was then a smashing chance to enter the Parachute Survival contest (and there is a review of it too).  Now we are working on Balloon Rockets.

Added to all this, some of the members of ScienceVT have helped to run a Science Club for Year 7 students... and it isn't very long until we start work on the 2006 Science Fair.

• 16/09/05: A new school year: Projects and Profiles

A new school year has begun and so there are a number of updates:

1) A list of project ideas has been added for this year

2) The first project of the year, the Boating Bonanza, has started

3) The members of ScienceVT are in the process of adding their own Profiles to the site

• 29/07/05: Science Fair review and images added

The www.ScienceVT.co.uk Science Fair has taken place.  It was an successful and popular event at St Edmund's Catholic School.  The Science Fair Review and Images section has now been added.

• 02/05/05: ScienceVT v2.0 launched

The design and layout of ScienceVT has been updated.  This includes a new ScienceVT logo and an animation of the St Edmund's Catholic School logo.

• 20/02/05: Science Fair projects are starting

ScienceVT will be holding a Science Fair in the Summer Term 2005.  The members are now beginning their Science Fair projects.

• 05/01/05: Crystallisation Kit added

The ScienceVT members have been challenged to produce some outstanding crystals using a Crystallisation Kit.

• 02/12/04: Communication Challenge commences

The members of ScienceVT are now taking part in a Communication Challenge.

• 01/12/04: Target competition review

The Target Competition has been completed successfully - read the review and see some pictures here.
